Pursuit of Fiber will be on a break for the month of September. From Sept 6-21, I will be away from my computer sunning myself in the mythical state of Hawaii. Hopefully I can catch a volcanoe and make my inner pyro happy.
I have released my Firebrick Mittens for your pleasure while I am away. They are a blast to knit and much simplier than they look. Above are the mittens that I and my test knitters created this summer on a burned out tree stump near the river.

Yep, I’m jealous. Last time I was in Hawaii I was in the 6th grade. That’s XX years ago! Um yeah, I’m not tellin’ you just how many since it is too many years ago. Have a lovely time…

And hooray for releasing your pattern too! I loved test knitting these and they look so cute in your new photos. I got them back in the mail when I returned from my trip, and was so excited to have them again. They fit great after blocking – thanks so much for doing that for me! Let me know when I can post about them on my bloggy
