Cashsoft DK on Ravelry

This yarn is a dream to knit with.  I just enjoyed the swatch making process.  I don’t normally, but this time it flew past.  I was also surprised since I got the suggest gauge above with the correct needle size.

This yarn is prominently featured in Grumperina’ Odessa pattern and Ysolda’s Elijah pattern.  I can imagine that Elijah would be a cuddle must for little kids that receive him since the yarn is so soft.

The stitch definition was beautiful.  I enjoyed the tight but soft twist.  I assume this yarn is woolen spun since is squishes nicely.  I had no bleeding what so ever.  Bonus this yarn is machine washable and air dry.  I think a machine washing might have evened out the stitches a bit more but I am happy with the occasional funny stitch leg.

If anyone has used this yarn, could you share the wearablity issues?  How does it wear?  Does it still look great a year later?

Thanks for reviewing this one! I haven’t knit anything with it yet, but I have ten balls in almost that same color in my stash that I’m hoarding ;) Saving it for something extra special, you know! Your info will help me decide….

I’m making something in the Cashsoft 4-ply for the Ravelympics. Though it’s likely different from the DK, I’ll let you know how it wears.
