I am in love with this yarn. I want an entire sweater of this in a solid color which is available. I am sure since I love this one so much I would probably adore the DK weight of this yarn. Me need more silk yarn choices. I have 2 skeins of this waiting to become socks. I am interested to see what pattern I come up with. I am not sure the above gauge would make good comfortable socks at that gauge but it is lovely for a garment.

Things I love about this yarn: Drape, Shine, Plump stitches, Spoing, and Easy to Knit. I used a US 2 (3.0 mm) needles and got gauge. This is a reasonable price at $8-9 per skein and 204 yards for a silk yarn. A typical long sleeve sweater would be 8-12 skeins of yarn.

I don’t think I have gushed more with a yarn but I can tell you that as soon as I swatched with this yarn I started thinking what I could knit with it.
